Section 4 (continued)

Urvasi and Pururavas were together again, and
Urvasi brought two rams from heaven to earth and she loved them
-
Gandharvas stole the rams because he did not
want Urvasi to go away (because of the boon he made to Pururavas)
-
Urvasi had a rule to not see her husband unrobed,
but when the rams were stolen, he got out of bed and Urvasi saw him unrobed and
immediately went back to heaven
-
He was depressed without her, so she promised to
come to earth one night a year, and to them 6 sons were born
-
Now the story goes back to Rama and Sita: Ravana
himself captures Sita and tried to win her away from Rama

Section 5
-
Rama found out that Lakshma left Sita to help
him, and she was missing
-
Found Ravana’s footprints and a piece of Sita’s
jewelry
-
They ran into Hanuman and offered them
friendship (the monkey prince)
-
Ravana challenged all of them to a battle
-
Rama struck Bali in the heart (chief)
-
Made a monkey army for the battle against Ravana
because he was abusing Sita
-
He kept praying to gods that Sita would love him,
and Sita began to feel hopeless without Rama
-
Finally, they were rejoined after a long fight
to defeat Rama and bring together the monkey army with the monkey king

Section 6
-
Hanuman returned and Rama rejoiced,
-
They marched to face Ravana face to face
-
Word got to Ravana that Rama had been detfeated,
and Sita wanted to take her own life and give up
-
But Rama was only in a trance and awoke on the
battlefield
-
Finally, they meet face to face and Rama uses
his bow to finally kill the demon king and return to Adoydha and take over the
kingdom as the new ruler
-
In the streets, people were singing his praises
and celebrating

All four main characters are preparing to meet Ravana face-to-face
