Week 8: Progress

Looking back at my overall progress, I have noticed that I have everything turned in in order to receive an A in this class. I sent in an original schedule at the beginning of the semester, and I have followed it some, but I haven't stuck to a strict plan for this class.

I know myself well enough to know that I am very disciplined, and I will do whatever it takes in any class to make the grade I desire. In order for that to happen, I have made this class work around all my others (due to the great flexibility of this particular class). I also know myself well enough to know I enjoy planning, so I know all my work for the class will get done before the deadline. Of course, there have been times when I have a mistake in my plan and forget things, but I have acquired every point I need in the class for a perfect score so far.

The fall season is an especially busy time for everyone; with football season, Thanksgiving break, many activities outside of class, and deadlines make this portion of the year harder for meto plan. Each week in the fall, unlike the spring, is different and I have different commitments  depending on each week. So many unexpected things come up as the fall continues, so I must take charge of all my class planning as the semester goes on.

As I look forward in the semester, I would like to make some small changes in my schedule for this class. So far, I am happy with my grade, so I just want to work on these assignments on different days of the week. In order to turn in my storytelling assignment on time, I need to do most of the readings on Monday or Tuesday. Mondays are busy days for me, so I tend to feel overwhelmed when I try to work on this class that day. I feel like Tuesday evenings are the best time for me to sit down and actually soak up all I am reading for this class.

This image has one of my favorite quotes. Studying for the LSAT is extremely difficult, frustrating, and tiresome. Not to mention, I have 5 classes to manage and 2 jobs to manage on top of that. I have become discouraged many times this semester, so I always go to Pinterest and find a quote or two that motivates me. This one helps me remember WHY I am studying so hard: I want a bright future, so I will do whatever it takes to get there!
